Give customers a helpful answer in your business’s voice. WAStack brings your company knowledge, a configurable persona and recent conversation into WhatsApp replies. Connect your own OpenRouter key and choose a supported text generation model instead of being tied to one model.

Start simply: pair your WhatsApp number, open AI Automation, save your OpenRouter key and choose a reply model. Describe your business and tone, then add facts or import public website pages. Sitemap discovery can find more pages; every import stays a draft until you review, add and save it.

Test your assistant before enabling automatic replies. The preview shows the answer, selected knowledge sources and provider usage without sending a WhatsApp message. Enable AI and automatic replies when you are ready; pause individual conversations when your team takes over.

For advanced control, choose a separate embedding model and index your saved knowledge. Cached vectors and semantic plus keyword search select relevant excerpts for the reply model. Re-index after edits; unchanged chunks are reused. This can reduce prompt size while embedding calls add their own cost.

Choose free or paid models available to your OpenRouter key. Free model availability and limits depend on OpenRouter; paid generation and embeddings are billed to your own account, separately from your WAStack plan and WhatsApp allowance. Usage logs separate knowledge embeddings, question embeddings and reply generation. Missing provider cost stays unknown.

Replies prefer readable WhatsApp text. Approved business images or documents can be shared when relevant; AI does not create official Meta interactive buttons or lists. Conversation memory helps follow-up replies stay connected, and full prompt/result diagnostic storage is optional and off by default.

OpenRouter is the supported AI provider today. Additional providers are a future direction, not a current integration. Public static pages can be imported; login-only or JavaScript-only pages may need manual facts. Retrieval improves grounding, but businesses should test their assistant and review important answers.
